ABOUT ABOUT
PLEASE NOTE that you must register by 6pm PST on Tuesday to receive the links for that week's class. Registrations received after 6pm PST will receive the link the following week. You only have to register once for the full course.
Each week, the link to the live broadcast will be emailed to every registered student, around 1 hour before the class begins. There is no need to contact us requesting the link before this because it is sent to all email addresses on this system.
Videos from past classes will be made available. Again, there is no need to contact us requesting these. Links will be emailed out as soon as they are ready to all registered students.

During this 12-week course, Shaykh Yahya Rhodus will expound upon the 99 Beautiful Names of God. Students will be helped to memorize the 99 names along with a supplication that is recited before and after. In each session, a few of the Names will be explored and a special emphasis will be placed on how the Names relate to the human being. An attempt will be made to explain the Names in a way that encourages the student to reflect on what occurs around them as manifestations
of Allah's Names and Attributes. The course will be based on Ghazali’s commentary al-Maqsad al-Asna fi Sharh Asma’ Allah al-Husna (The Noblest Aim—a Commentary of the Beautiful Names of God).

On completion of this course, successful students will:

- Memorize the 99 Beautiful Names of Allah
- Understand the meanings of each name and how to turn to God through these meanings
- Learn how to identify the manifestation of these Names in the world around them
- Strive to implement the counsel for each name
- Strive to attain higher levels of faith and certainty

This course is suitable for beginners who have not studied Allah’s Names previously.

The following materials will be provided:
- Supplication through the Beautiful Names of God
- An English translation of a poem on God’s beautiful Names written by Habib Umar bin Hafiz.

In addition, students are encouraged to have a copy of Imam al-Ghazali’s commentary, which is available as an English translation.

This class will take place every Tuesday at 8:30pm PST. This class is held at MCC masjid in Pleasanton and will be broadcast live online each week.
